Description
This is a North Korean Merit Medal, complete with its case and medal bar.
The case has a printing error where the gold foil lettering is shifted to the left instead of being centered. This type of error case is considered rarer.
As shown in the fourth picture, this is a medal that can be awarded multiple times and worn.
The previous owner, a Zainichi Korean resident in Japan executive, stated that this was a memento received from North Korea. It was legally imported into the country for collection purposes, with customs declarations and adherence to national security laws.
