An antique scroll of the Myōhō Renge Kyō (Lotus Sutra), dating back to the 5th volume.
Dimensions: 19cm x 30cm
Origin: Chwiun Temple, Waryongsan, Goseong, 1724
Details:
- This scroll features the Myōhō Renge Kyō (妙法蓮華經) Volume 5.
- It was created in the Jia-chen year (甲辰年) of the Yongzheng era (1724).
- The main text consists of 57 pages, with no missing pages.
- There are signs of use, and a portion of the back cover is missing.
- The front 3 pages have been reinforced with traditional Korean paper (hanji).
- Does not include illustrations (Byunsangdo).
