This Yoju Ware celadon dish, measuring 15.3 cm in diameter, features a beautifully decorated interior with a "Sea Fish and Waves" motif. The dish is adorned with 15 distinct floral patterns, resembling chrysanthemums or sunflowers, around its rim. Its base, with subtle reliefs, suggests a connection to the Yuan dynasty, though it is representative of Yoju kilns from the Song and Jin dynasties through to the Yuan.

Crafted from Yoju celadon, originating from the Yoju kilns in Huangbao Town, Shanxi Province, this piece is a hallmark of Northern celadon production.

**Glaze & Body:**
Covered in a characteristic olive-green glaze with yellowish undertones, the surface is smooth with a fine "orange peel" texture, a signature of Yoju Ware. The unglazed base reveals a light ochre clay body, dense and hard, aligning with the typical grayish-white or saffron-colored body of Yoju Ware. The firing process was complete, with glaze covering the entire piece except for a narrow, shallow ring on the base.

**Design & Symbolism:**
The rim is decorated with 15 evenly spaced chrysanthemum petals, each with vertical lotus petal/stripe carvings on the inner walls. The petal lines are gently undulating, creating a soft, elegant form. The shallow, open bowl shape with its gentle curves evokes the bio-mimicking floral designs popular in the Song dynasty, symbolizing auspiciousness and blooming beauty.

The interior is densely filled with a "sea waves" pattern, with several fish swimming amidst the crests. The waves are rendered with continuous, curling lines, and the fish are distinctly outlined, conveying a sense of abundance without appearing chaotic.

This motif of fish swimming in waves carries auspicious connotations, similar to the phrase "every year there is abundance" (fish - 'yu' - sounds like 'abundance' in Chinese). The waves symbolize continuous prosperity and the flow of wealth. This is a classic, auspicious pattern from ancient times, embodying wishes for richness and smooth sailing.

**Craftsmanship & Use:**
The design was created using a pre-cast mold, resulting in intricate and dense lines that retain their vibrancy even in mass production, showcasing the mature pottery-making techniques of the Song dynasty. Historically referred to as 'Bilsae' (필세), this type of dish was versatile. Its primary uses included brush washer holders for scholars, inkstone rests, water containers for ink, dishes for tea rooms, small fruit platters, and decorative display items.

요주요청유구해수유어문접시 지름 15.3cm, 배와 작은 원, 발은 전체적으로 15장의 국화/해바라기 모양의 꽃무늬 모양을 하고 있으며 송나라와 금나라에서 원나라까지 요주요의 고전 문방 진열기이며 과일 접시와 향접시로도 사용할 수 있습니다.
요주요 청자로, 요지는 산시성 퉁촨 황바오진에 위치해 있으며, 북쪽 청자는 요구를 대표합니다.
전체적으로 감람청유를 바르고, 청중에서 약간 황색을 띠며, 유약 표면이 온화하고, 미세한 귤껍질감을 띠며, 요주요의 상징적인 유약색입니다.
바닥이 드러나고 태질이 옅은 황토색이며 질감이 단단하여 요주요의 회백색/강황색 태의 특징에 부합합니다. 원은 좁고 얕으며 바닥에만 유약이 없으며, 유약이 가득한 완전한 소성 공정입니다.
입 가장자리에 15개의 균일한 국화 꽃잎이 있고 각 꽃잎의 내벽 모각은 세로 연꽃잎/줄무늬이며 꽃잎의 선은 기복이 있고 부드럽고 기형이 편하고 가볍습니다.
얕고 열린 배, 완만한 곡선, 전체적으로 얇고 시각적으로 국화가 만발한 것처럼 보이는 것은 송나라 시대에 유행한 생체 모방 꽃 기형으로, 꽃이 피는 길상의 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 가득 촘촘하게 겹친 바닷물결무늬, 여러 마리의 유어들이 물결 사이를 누비며, 물결이 곱슬곱슬 이어지며, 물고기 몸의 선이 뚜렷하고 번성하지만 어지럽지 않습니다.
바닷물에서 물고기를 유람하는 것은 "해마다 남는다(물고기)"와 비슷하며, 물결은 재원이 끊임없이 이어진다는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 이는 고대 가장 고전적인 길조 문양으로, 풍요롭고 순조로운 아름다운 기원을 담고 있습니다.
무늬는 프리캐스트 도자기 틀에 의해 한 번에 압인되어 형성되며, 선이 정교하고 촘촘하여 대량 생산에도 생동감을 잃지 않으며, 송대의 성숙한 도자기 제작 수준을 보여줍니다. 옛날에는 '필세이라고 불렸으며 주류 용도는 문방 필세, 문인 연묵, 물 담기, 다실 접시에 담기, 작은 과일 담기, 장식 및 감상용으로도 사용할 수 있습니다.
