This particular coat, estimated to be from around the 1980s, showcases Ralph Lauren's signature single-panel tweed design.

근래 들어 원패널이 마치 빈티지 버버리의 전유물인 것처럼 바이럴이 되는데, 사실 폴로도 원패널이 유행으로 떠오르기 전부터 그렇게 코트를 만들어 왔습니다. 판매하는 제품이 바로 80년대 쯤으로 추정되는 랄프로렌의 원패널 트위드 코트입니다.

전체적인 형태는 싱글 폴로 코트에 발마칸을 접목한 모습으로, 50년대 이전 남성복에서 자주 발견되는 형태입니다. 기본적으로 오버코트로 활용하기 좋으며, 넉넉한 품, A라인, 자연스러운 원패널 어깨 라인 덕에 캐주얼도 잘 맞습니다. 다만 이 코트의 관전 포인트는 무엇보다 깊게 굴려지는 라펠이 아닐까 합니다. 과연 랄프로렌다운 코트네요.
