This artifact is a black glazed tea bowl produced during the Tang to Northern Song Dynasty period in the Lushan Kiln, Henan Province. It features a deep shape and splendid kiln-change decoration.

Inside the bowl, a tortoiseshell glaze pattern, a blend of milky white and blue, unfolds in three directions over the jet-black glaze. This showcases the unique painterly technique of the Lushan Kiln, formed by the natural flow of the glaze within the high-temperature kiln.
