Introducing the Slick and Easy Udon Denim 1.2, a meticulously crafted pair of jeans born from a collaboration between Slick and Easy and Paraffin. This limited 'MIJ' (Made in Japan) denim pant features a unique pink selvedge detail and builds upon the design of version 1.0 with enhanced fabric and finishing.

Version 1.2 utilizes a vintage-inspired fabric, similar to that used in version 2.0, for a small additional production run. While the fundamental composition of the fabric remains the same, the selvedge line has been updated to a vintage-inspired soft pink. The fabric's inherent hairy texture is further highlighted through a unique finishing process, distinct from the original version 1.0 fabric. A notable update from version 1.1 is the change of the back pocket's hidden bar tacks to hidden rivets.

* **Rope Dyeing:** Utilizes pure indigo from Sakamoto Denim, which fades to a pure blue.
* **Weaving:** Woven on shuttle looms at low tension, resulting in a fluffy, voluminous texture.

**Manufacturing & Design:**
Designed by Slick and Easy in Korea and Manufactured by Basic in Japan, with Spinner's expertise. This project brought together Mr. Kawanishi from Basic, a historic Japanese denim factory with extensive experience producing renowned Japanese and European high-end denim, and Mr. Ooto from Spinner, based in Okayama with broad product manufacturing experience.

Named 'UDON Denim' in honor of the Kagawa prefecture, where the factory is located and famous for Udon, this project aims to be a monumental piece.

The 14oz denim fabric is 100% Japanese cotton Selvedge, using Supima cotton and dyed with pure indigo from Sakamoto.

To achieve a vintage feel, the fabric was not sanforized. Instead, a post-washing process enhances its hairy texture. Skew processing is applied to prevent twisting after wear, ensuring comfortable wear.

The soft pink selvedge is chosen to create beautiful aging effects with indigo fading. The contrast between the faded indigo and the pink selvedge is particularly striking as the jeans are worn in.

All rivets and buttons are genuine YKK products. The buttons feature a laurel wreath design, and the stitching uses Japanese UJ core thread in prominent orange and yellow colors.

The silhouette is based on a clean tapered fit, with elements adjusted for maximum comfort, making these an ideal pair of daily denim jeans.

버젼 1.2은 버젼 1번의 디자인과 동일하며 기존 버젼 2에 사용할 빈티지한 느낌의 원단을 이용하여 소량 추가 생산된 제품입니다.
원단의 기본 구성을 동일하지만 셀비지 라인이 빈티지한 연분홍으로 변경되며 원단 자체의 헤어리한 질감이 더욱 돋보이도록
후가공 과정에서 버젼 1 원단과 다른 느낌으로 가공한 원단입니다.
1.1의 백 포켓의 히든 바텍이 히든 리벳으로 변경되었습니다.

코지마 지역 근처 타카마쓰에서 오랜 시간 일본의 유명한 데님 팬츠부터 유럽의 하이엔드 데님 팬츠까지 생산해 온 일본의 역사 깊은
데님 팩토리 Basic 의 대표 카와니시 상과 오카야마 기반의 다양한 제품 생산 핸들링 경험을 가진 Spinner 의 대표 오오토상을 만나
최고 수준의 퀄리티 데님 팬츠를 제작하는 프로젝트로 완성된 데님 팬츠입니다.

공장이 위치한 카카와 현이 우동으로 유명한 지역으로 파라핀과 함께 기념비 적인 프로젝트 데님 팬츠의 명을 과감하게
UDON Denim 으로 결정하였습니다.

원단은 수피마 코튼을 사용한 일본산 면100% Selvedge 원단을 사용하였으며, 사카모토사의 퓨어 인디고로 염색된 14oz 데님 원단입니다.

원단 가공 과정에서 샌포라이징 가공(毛焼き-케야키)를 하지 않고, 워싱 후 헤어리한 질감을 살려 빈티지한 느낌을 재현했습니다.
skew(스큐) 가공을 하여 제품 착용 후 “비틀림”을 방지하여 편안한 착용감을 중시했습니다.

셀비지의 연한 핑크색을 채용해, 페이딩을 통한 에이징의 컬러를 표현하였습니다.
착용하자마자 더욱 인디고의 페이딩이 되었을 때 핑크 셀비지와의 궁합이 아름답게 표현됩니다.

사용한 모든 리벳과 버튼은 YKK사의 정품 리벳으로 버튼 부분은 월계수 디자인이 들어간 버튼을 사용하였으며
실은 일본 UJ사의 코어사를 사용하여 메인 컬러인 오렌지와 옐로우 컬러 실을 이용하여 포인트를 주었습니다.

전체적인 실루엣은 깔끔하게 떨어지는 테이퍼드 실루엣을 기반으로 복각 데님들에서 많이 불편했던 요소들은 실루엣으로
풀어 편안하게 착용할 수 있는 데일리 데님 팬츠로 완성하였습니다.
