[BUNJANG] Late Qing Dynasty Rashidin Khoja Coin (1864-1867) / 1864~1867년 청 말기 열서정한전

The Rashidin Khoja Coin (熱西丁汗錢) was minted by the forces of Rashidin Khoja, a rebel leader who occupied the Kuchah region during the large-scale Islamic rebellion (Dungan Revolt) in the late Qing Dynasty of China.

The coin is called the Rashidin Khoja Coin, meaning it was issued by Rashidin Khan Khoja, the leader of the rebels.

At the time, the rebel forces borrowed from the Qing Dynasty's currency system (cash coin format) but incorporated Islamic inscriptions and script, creating a unique transitional currency. It was circulated for a short period before being unified under Yakub Beg.

열서정한전(熱西丁汗錢)은 청나라 말기 신강 지역에서 발생한 대규모 이슬람 반란(둥간 혁명) 당시, 쿠차 지역을 점령한 반란군 지도자 라시딘 호자(Rashidin Khoja) 세력이 주조했습니다.

반란군 지도자인 라시딘 칸(Rashidin Khan Khoja)을 의미하는 열서정한(熱西丁汗)이 발행한 화폐라는 뜻으로 열서정한전이라 불립니다.

당시 반란군은 청나라의 화폐 체계(엽전 형태)를 빌려 쓰면서도 내용은 이슬람식 문구와 서체를 삽입하여 과도기적이고 독특한 형태의 화폐를 탄생시켰습니다. 이후 야쿠브 벡(Yakub Beg)에 의해 통합되기 전까지 짧은 기간 유통되었습니다.
