A rare Joseon White Porcelain Dawang tea bowl from the 16th-17th century, featuring visible gold repairs (Kintsugi).

This piece showcases a simple, low, and unglazed foot with visible pottery wheel marks, reflecting a rustic charm.

The subtle bluish-grey glaze evokes the aesthetic of early to mid-Joseon period buncheong ware or early Yi dynasty kilns.

Expertly repaired with thin, delicate gold lines, this bowl was once broken into three large pieces.

Characteristic features such as the interior resting marks, unique glaze color, and the robust foot design suggest it was produced in provincial folk kilns during the Joseon Dynasty (16th-17th century). It is suitable for use as a *sabal* or *daejeop*, and is highly appreciated by Japanese tea ceremony practitioners as an *I-do* or *Kohon* style tea bowl.

소박하게 깎인 낮은 죽절굽 형태에 유약이 묻지 않은 태토가 그대로 드러나 있으며, 물레 흔적이 투박하게 남아 있습니다.

회청색 유약이 결합하여 은은한 이도가마나 조선 초.중기 분청사기백자의 이행기 느낌을 줍니다. ​정교한 금수리(킨츠기)그릇이 크게 세 갈래로 깨졌던 것을 금선으로 아주 얇고 정교하게 이어 붙였습니다.

그릇 안쪽의 눈받침 자국, 특유의 유색, 투박한 굽 형태로 보아 조선 시대 (16세기~17세기) 지방 민요에서 생산된 사발 또는 대접 일본 다도인들이 즐겨찾고 좋아하는 이도나 고혼 다완으로 보시면 됩니다.
