[BUNJANG] Han Chun-seop Intangible Cultural Heritage Hwagakjang Cabinet / 한춘섭 무형문화재 문갑 화각장 고가구

This is a Hwagakjang (mother-of-pearl inlay lacquerware) cabinet, specifically a bunk bed style, crafted by Intangible Cultural Heritage artisan Han Chun-seop. Made entirely of solid wood, this series holds significant collectible value. (Note: Many Hwagakjang and Jagaejang items are typically made with veneer plywood and lacquer.)

Crafted in 1989, only the mirror shows signs of age. The Hwagak inlay and lacquer condition are excellent.

Features include a dresser-sized width. The entire body and frame are made of solid Paulownia wood, and the hardware is brass butterfly fittings.

The condition is nearly mint, making it a highly valuable piece for long-term admiration or collection. It was reportedly purchased for 20 million KRW. This is an investment that can be passed down through generations.
