[BUNJANG] Haerim Studio White Porcelain Blue-and-White Bat Motif Ring-shaped Inkstone Water Dropper / 백자청화박쥐문환형연적

This is a ring-shaped (Hwanhyeong) inkstone water dropper, colloquially known as a 'Ttuari' (twisted) water dropper.

It is crafted in a hollow ring shape, allowing it to hold water. After submerging the entire piece to fill it with water, you can control the flow by opening and closing the air hole, dispensing the desired amount of ink.

Three bats are painted in underglaze blue (Cheonghwa) on the body, symbolizing prosperity, longevity, and good fortune – a classic motif of auspicious design.

This piece is a work by the renowned Haerim Studio, celebrated both domestically and internationally. It is considered a relatively large ring-shaped water dropper and is praised for its well-executed, restrained beauty.

필요한 만큼의 물을 따를 수 있습니다.
동부 세 곳에 청화로 박쥐를 시문 하였는데, 이는
번영과 장수 등 복을 상징하는 대표적 길상문입니다.
본 기물은 국내외에서 유명한 해림요의 작품으로,
환형연적으로는 작지 않은 편이고 절제된 아름다움을
잘 구현하였는 평을 받는 기물입니다.
