Description
This is the George Lynch SH-12 Bridge Pickup from Doken.
Known as the "Screaming Demon", this Alnico V pickup boasts a 10k resistance. It offers a crisp high-end, a wide open sound, and a slightly scooped midrange, making it ideal for 80s hard rock and metal.
Even with high gain, the notes remain clear and distinct, with excellent chord separation. The clean tones are also quite good when the volume is rolled back.
This pickup features a substantial amount of lead wire remaining and has a distinctive hex wrench-type pole piece.
Based on listening tests, it delivers a very heavy sound, specialized for drive, with a powerful and crisp feel.
