Turning the iron handle on the left causes the large wooden wheel and the central shaft to rotate together. Observe the black cylindrical component in the center of the reciprocal conversion mechanism's cam structure; it features diagonally cut grooves. As the shaft rotates, a long wooden lever connected to these grooves moves back and forth, enacting a 'reciprocal motion'.

This mechanism converts rotational force into reciprocal motion, enabling the machine to evenly distribute and wind yarn from side to side, or to shake a sieve back and forth for tasks like winnowing grain.

축이 회전할 때 이 홈을 따라 연결된 긴 나무 레버가 좌우 또는 전후로 왔다 갔다 하는 '왕복 운동'을 하게 됩니다.
