This is an octagonal vase from the Goryeo Dynasty featuring a black and white inlaid chrysanthemum and leaf motif.

The sides are smoothly shaved into an octagon, with angles aligned to the direction of the surface, giving a neat and balanced appearance.

A band of vine patterns encircles the area below the mouth rim, and in the center of the inner base, a chrysanthemum motif is clearly arranged with impressed relief, creating a stable composition.

On the exterior, white inlay lines divide the sections, and within each square panel, a chrysanthemum and leaf motif is depicted using the black and white inlay technique.

Overall, the piece has been fired evenly in a single color without glaze variation, resulting in a well-formed vessel.

기면을 부드럽게 팔각으로 깎아내어 기면의 방향에 맞추어 각을 만들어서 단정하고 균형잡힌 느낌을 준다
구연부 아래에는 당초문대를 둘렀고, 내저 중앙에는 국화문이 압출 양각으로 선명하게 배치되어 안정감 있는 구성을 이루고 있습니다.
외면에는 백상감으로 선을 둘러 구획을 나누고, 각 사각문 안에 흑백상감 기법으로 국화여지문을 시문하였습니다
전반적으로 요변없이 일색으로 안정되게 자화가 잘되었습니다
