This is the HAM-33 Shibori Bag from ANDO, a Japanese brand from Kyoto. It's difficult to find in Korea.

This bag is made using the traditional 'Kaishibori' (Shell Pleating) technique, originally used for making Obiage (kimono sashes) in Kyoto. The fabric is gathered into shell-like shapes from both sides and repeatedly tied with thread, creating a finely detailed, bumpy texture.

If you like Pleats Please or Bao Bao, this bag will suit your taste. A standout feature is the strap; unlike most shibori bags with short handles, this one is long enough to be worn comfortably on the shoulder, even over outerwear.

When not in use, it folds compactly to fit in the palm of your hand. When filled, it expands to accommodate the shape of your belongings. It can expand up to 38 x 33 x 22cm and hold up to 10kg, making it perfect for grocery shopping or as a travel sub-bag.

정말 엄청 늘어나고, 고급지기까지 합니다

❓️ 교토에서 오랫동안 오비아게(帯揚げ)를 만들어온 곳에서
전통 '카이시보리(貝絞り)' 기법을 그대로 살려 만든 가방이에요.
천을 양면에서 조개처럼 동그랗게 떠올려 실로 반복해 조인 방식이라
오돌토돌한 입체감이 촘촘하게 잡혀 있습니다.
플리츠플리즈나 바오바오 좋아하시는 분들 취향에 딱 맞아요.

가장 마음에 들었던 부분은 스트랩입니다.
이런 시보리 계열 가방들이 대부분 손잡이가 짧아서
손에 들거나 팔에 걸어야 하는데, 이건 어깨에 메집니다.
겉옷 입어도 편하게 걸쳐져요.

안 쓸 때는 손바닥 안에 들어올 만큼 작게 접히고,
짐을 넣으면 물건 모양대로 쭉 늘어납니다.
최대 38 x 33 x 22cm까지 벌어지고 10kg까지 담겨서
장보기나 여행 서브백으로 쓰기 정말 좋아요.
