A collection of winning entries from the '2024 Woojurieview Award' review competition.
The Woojurieview Award is a review competition jointly hosted by the specialized review magazine 《Seoul Review of Books》 and Aladin, with support from the Amorepacific Foundation. It was first introduced last year to broaden the horizons of humanities and promote a culture of book reviews.
Over approximately three months of the submission period, 325 participants submitted 478 review entries. This collection features selected reviews that faithfully introduce the content of the books, analyze their strengths and weaknesses, incorporate the reviewer's critical evaluation, and deliver a profound message to Korean society, considered exemplary 'standard' reviews.

서평 공모전 '2024 우주리뷰상' 수상작품집.
우주리뷰상은 인문학적 지평 확대와 서평 문화의 확산을 위해 서평 전문지 《서울리뷰오브북스》 와 알라딘이 주최하고, 아모레퍼시픽재단이 후원하여 지난해 첫선을 보인 서평 공모전이다.
약 세 달간의 공모 기간 동안 325명이 478편의 서평을 응모했다. 그 가운데 책의 내용을 충실히 소개하고 장단점을 분석하면서도 서평자의 비판적 평가를 포함하며 한국 사회에 묵직한 메시지를 던지는 서평의 '정석'으로 꼽을 만한 서평들을 선정하여 수상작품집으로 출간한다.
