This vintage floor lamp was directly purchased in Hong Kong during the 1960s-70s while the owner was serving at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong.

This export-style lamp from 1960s-70s Hong Kong features a European Victorian Revival design harmoniously blended with a Southeast Asian rattan (cane) shade.

The column and decorative elements are adorned with brass openwork. This traditional metalcraft technique involves intricately cutting metal to create patterns, casting a subtle glow through the openings when lit, and producing three-dimensional shadows for a classic spatial ambiance.

The lamp retains its original brass patina and the original rattan shade, showcasing the atmosphere and craftsmanship of its era.

Light function is normal. There are signs of use consistent with age, and the original rattan shade has some repaired areas.

1960~70년대 주홍콩 대한민국 총영사관 근무 당시 현지에서 직접 구매한 빈티지 플로어 스탠드입니다.

유럽 빅토리안 리바이벌 디자인을 바탕으로 동남아 라탄(케인) 갓을 조화롭게 적용한 60~70년대 홍콩 수출형 조명입니다.

기둥과 장식부에는 황동 투각(Openwork) 기법이 적용되어 있습니다. 금속을 정교하게 오려내 문양을 만드는 전통 금속공예 방식으로, 점등 시 빛이 투각 사이로 은은하게 퍼지며 입체적인 그림자를 만들어 클래식한 공간감을 연출합니다.

황동 특유의 자연스러운 파티나와 순정 라탄 갓이 그대로 유지되어 있으며 당시의 분위기와 완성도를 잘 보여주는 제품입니다.

점등 정상입니다.
생활 사용감 있으며 순정 라탄 갓에는 일부 보수 흔적이 있습니다.
