보기 어려운 물건입니다. 90년대 폴로 랄프로렌의 바라쿠다 자켓, 덕캔버스 소재의 바라쿠타입니다.

정말 다시 없을 디자인, 불멸의 디자인인 바라쿠타지만... 다만 이렇게 멋진 디자인의 자켓들이 대부분 간절기 아우터에 많이 포진되어 있는 게 아쉬울 따름입니다. 대부분은 코튼, 그것도 아니면 왁스, 아주 드물게 스웨이드나 가죽이고요. 그렇기에 초겨울부터 입기 어려워진다는 게 정말 아쉽죠.

그 부분을 채워주면서도 동시에 바라쿠타의 디자인, 폴로라는 브랜드의 뉘앙스를 가져갈 수 있는 게 이 자켓입니다. 증명된 디자인의 바라쿠타 형태, 소재는 두툼하고 탄탄한 덕캔버스, 목과 소매에는 코듀로이 트림이 들어갔고, 안감은 멋진 타탄체크 라이닝. 안감 자체도 매끈하고 차가운 소재가 아니라 따뜻한 톤의 체크, 그것과 어울리는 플란넬 코튼입니다.

칼하트의 j97 디트로이트 자켓과 아주 똑같지는 않지만, 비슷한 원단감으로 생각하시면 됩니다. 칼하트 자켓이 개체에 따라 30-50, 컬러가 희소하다면 그 이상도 우습게 올라가는데요. 칼하트와 폴로의 브랜드 뉘앙스를 생각하면 이 자켓이 뒤쳐질 게 뭐가 있나 싶습니다.
