[BUNJANG] Tears / 눈물

Hello! I am a female student attending a middle school in Seoul.

My dream is to become an artist, and I often find myself daydreaming or letting my imagination run wild. This piece is an attempt to capture the lingering images that appear in my mind and translate them into art.

While not solely for the purpose of sale, I am sharing this work hoping for viewers to appreciate and connect with my art.

**Artwork Description**

I've always loved drawing eyes since I was young. I believe eyes are the most captivating part of the human body. Sometimes, things can be understood through gaze alone, not just facial expressions, and I found the moist, glass-bead-like irises incredibly beautiful. Most fascinatingly, I was amazed by the ability of these orb-like eyes to see and capture the world.

The world offers countless wonders to behold, and sometimes, we cannot contain all of these myriad things, and they overflow. These overflowing emotions are what we call tears. And the meanings and reasons behind those tears are also countless.

However, no matter the meaning, tears appear profoundly beautiful to me.

제가 그림작가가 꿈이라서, 이런 저런 상상? 혹은 망상을 하는 경우가 많아서,
그냥 생각 속에 떠오른 잔상을 그림으로 그려 본 건데요~^^

꼭 판매하기 위한 목적만은 아니고 그냥 제 그림을 한번 봐주시고 공감해주셨으면 하는 마음에서 올려보는 작품입니다~♡


<작품 설명>

전 옛날부터 눈 그리는 걸 좋아했습니다.

눈은 사람의 인체 중에서도 가장 매력적인 부분이라고 생각했거든요. 가끔은 표정이 아닌 눈빛만으로도 알 수 있는 것들이 있고, 유리구슬같이 촉촉한 눈동자가 너무 아름다웠습니다. 무엇보다 이 구슬 같은 눈동자로 세상을 보고 담을 수 있다는 것이 너무나 신기했습니다.

이 세상을 보면서 눈에 담을 수 있는 것은 수천만 가지 이상입니다. 그리고 가끔은 그 수천만 가지의 것들을 다 담아내지 못하고 넘쳐흐를 때가 있습니다. 그렇게 흘러내리는 것을 눈물이라고 합니다. 그리고 그 눈물에 담긴 의미와 이유 또한 수천 가지가 있겠죠. 하지만 그 어떤 의미를 담은 눈물이라도 저에게는 너무나 아름답게 보입니다.
