**Design:**
* **Interior:** Features a playful fish (어문 - eomun) rendered in underglaze blue (청화 - cheonghwa) with free brushstrokes.
* The fish is depicted with round eyes, a plump body, and a long, curved tail, giving it a sense of lively movement.
* Water droplet motifs surround the fish, adding to the simple yet humorous aesthetic.
* **Exterior:** Decorated on three sides with underglaze blue featuring the Chinese characters for 'water' (水) and 'wood' (木), along with unidentified characters.

**Rarity and Origin:**
* The harmonious combination of the fish motif and textual decoration is exceptionally rare, enhancing the dish's collectible value.
* Based on the clay, glaze, and foot shape, this piece is presumed to have been made in a provincial kiln during the Joseon Dynasty.
* Significant kiln-slag attachment suggests it was excavated from a kiln site.

조선시대 후기에 제작된 청화백자 어문종지입니다.

내면에는 청화 안료로 해학적인 어문(魚文)을 자유로운 필치로 그려 넣었습니다.

동그란 눈과 통통한 몸체, 길게 휘어 올라간 꼬리는 금방이라도 헤엄쳐 나갈 듯한 생동감을 자아내며, 물고기 주변에는 물방울을 연상시키는 도안를 더해 소박하면서도 해학적인 표현이 돋보입니다.

외면에는 청화로 삼면에 걸쳐 水(물 수) 木(나무 목)와 미상의 글자가 시문되어 있습니다.

어문과 함께 문자 장식이 조화를 이루는 구성은 쉽게 접하기 어려워 이 종지의 희소성을 더욱 높여줍니다.

태토와 유약, 굽의 형태 등으로 보아 조선시대 지방 가마에서 제작된 기물로 추정되며, 소성 과정에서 가마재가 다량 부착되어 가마터에서 출토된 기물로 추측됩니다
