Therefore, this repaint focuses on brightness and vitality rather than intensity, using a color palette that emphasizes these qualities.

A striking feature of this piece is the contrast between pink and white. While maintaining the bright aesthetic of the original hero costume, the shading on each part has been meticulously separated to avoid a flat, monochromatic look. The white gloves and boots feature cool gray shading to define their form, while the pink parts incorporate shades ranging from light pink to deep magenta, adding depth and curvature. 작품에 대하여

우라라카 오차코는 『나의 히어로 아카데미아』에서 밝고 따뜻한 분위기를 가진 캐릭터입니다.

하지만 단순히 귀엽고 밝은 캐릭터로만 바라보기에는, 히어로가 되고자 하는 이유와 주변 사람들을 생각하는 마음의 순수한 히어로 캐릭터입니다.

이번 작품은 그런 우라라카의 본 코스튬 이미지를 해치지 않으면서, 원작 애니메이션에서 느껴지는 (밝고 경쾌한 색감과 입체적인 셀 명암)을 피규어 위에 다시 표현하는 방향으로 작업했습니다.

1. 캐릭터 해석

우라라카의 개성은 「무중력(Zero Gravity)」

손가락 끝으로 대상에 접촉하면 그 대상의 중력을 없앨 수 있는 능력입니다.

단순히 물체를 띄우는 능력처럼 보이지만, 전투와 구조 상황에서 어떻게 활용하느냐에 따라 상당히 넓은 가능성을 가진 개성입니다.

그리고 우라라카라는 캐릭터의 매력은 이러한 능력보다도, (사람을 돕고 싶다는 마음에서 시작된 히어로 의식)에 있다고 생각합니다.

그래서 이번 리페인트에서는 강렬함보다 밝음과 생동감을 중심으로 색을 구성했습니다.

2D 리페인팅 이란?

이번 작품에서 가장 먼저 눈에 들어오는 부분은 / 핑크와 화이트의 색 대비에요.

원작의 히어로 코스튬이 가진 밝은 이미지를 유지하면서도, 단순한 단색 도색처럼 보이지 않도록 각 파츠의 명암을 분리했습니다.

화이트 계열의 장갑과 부츠에는 차가운 회색 명암을 넣어 형태를 살리고,

핑크색 파츠에는 밝은 핑크와 짙은 마젠타 계열의 음영을 더해 곡면의 입체감을 표현했습니다.

블랙에 가까운 바디슈트 역시 완전한 검정으로 눌러버리지 않고 네이비와 딥 그린 계열의 명암을 섞어 애니메이션 특유의 깊이를 만들었습니다.

전체적으로 색을 과하게 쌓기보다 (원작의 컬러 팔레트를 유지하면서 필요한 곳에만 명암을 넣는 방식)으로 마무리했습니다.

2. 얼굴과 표정

우라라카는 표정이 중요한 캐릭터입니다.

이번 작업에서는 눈동자의 선명도와 얼굴의 따뜻한 피부톤을 중심으로 표정을 정리했습니다.

눈 주변의 라인을 또렷하게 잡고, 볼과 얼굴 측면에는 부드러운 음영을 넣어 애니메이션 특유의 둥글고 친근한 인상을 유지했습니다.

특히 밝게 웃는 표정이 작품 전체의 분위기를 결정하기 때문에, 과도한 리얼리즘보다는 (2D 캐릭터 특유의 깨끗한 표정과 색 분할)에 중점을 두었습니다.

3. 작품의 인상

우라라카의 히어로 코스튬은 다른 캐릭터에 비해 색의 대비가 명확합니다.

핑크, 화이트, 블랙 계열이 서로 강하게 나뉘기 때문에 도색의 경계가 조금만 흐트러져도 전체적인 인상이 쉽게 무너질 수 있습니다.

이번 작업에서는 각 파츠의 경계를 최대한 깔끔하게 정리하면서도, 단순한 컬러링이 아닌 (빛의 방향에 따른 명암 변화)를 추가했습니다.

그래서 멀리서 바라보면 깔끔한 애니메이션 캐릭터처럼 보이고,

가까이에서 보면 각 파츠마다 쌓아 올린 명암과 디테일이 자연스럽게 드러납니다.

우라라카는 서브형 서포트 캐릭터의 능력을 가진 히어로로 알려져 있습니다.

오히려 자신보다 다른 사람을 먼저 생각하고, 그 마음을 가지고 계속 성장해 나가는 모습이 우라라카의 가장 큰 매력이죠.

그래서 이번 작품도 무거운 중압감의 무게감 있는 분위기보다는~

보고 있는 것만으로 기분이 조금 밝아지는 작품* = 힐링을 해주는 가슴 따뜻한 영웅을 만들고 싶었습니다.


2D 리페인트 역시 결국 캐릭터를 얼마나 이해하고 있느냐에서 시작한다고 생각합니다.

색을 예쁘게 칠하는 것보다,

그 색을 왜 그곳에 놓아야 하는지를 생각하는 것.

이번 작품에서는 그 기본적인 부분에 가장 충실했습니다.

본 작품은 『나의 히어로 아카데미아』의 우라라카 오차코를 기반으로 제작한 비공식 2차 창작 리페인트 작품입니다.

원작의 캐릭터성과 애니메이션 색감을 기준으로 전체 도색과 명암을 다시 구성했으며, 동일한 원형을 사용하더라도 도색의 농도와 붓의 터치, 명암의 위치에 따라 결과물은 달라질 수 있습니다.

밝고 따뜻하지만, 그 안에 분명한 의지를 가진 히어로. = 간호사의 이미지와 비슷하 달까요 ?!

그것이 이번 작품에서 담아내고 싶었던 "우라라카 오차코" 입니다.
