This piece is based on an original 1980s U.S. Army Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) jacket in Woodland Camo, reimagined with the traditional Japanese Sashiko Stitch (刺し子) embroidery technique.

White, thick stitching is meticulously hand-sewn across the entire jacket, including the sleeves, pockets, and shoulders, creating an artisanal finish.

This jacket blends the rugged, durable aesthetic of military wear with a warm, analog craft sensibility. The natural fading and patina from the original 80s U.S. military garment adds a distinct vintage charm, while the Sashiko stitching harmoniously integrates with the Woodland camouflage pattern, resulting in a sophisticated Amekaji (American Casual) style.

Featuring four large, structured cargo pockets on the chest and lower front, this jacket offers excellent storage capacity and contributes to the iconic silhouette of workwear and military looks.
