제가 이런 저런 상상? 혹은 망상을 하는 경우가 많아서,
그냥 생각 속에 떠오른 잔상을 그림으로 그려 본 건데요~^^

살아남기 위해 만들어진 칼은 결국 가장 먼저 자신을 베기 시작합니다.
몸은 사라지고 심장만이 기계처럼 박동하지요.
현대인은 살아 있다는 증거를 숫자와 그래프로 확인하지만, 정작 무엇을 위해 뛰는지는 잊어버린 채 살아가는 것 같습니다.

이 물고기는 먹히기 전에 이미 스스로를 도구로 만들었습니다. 하지만 칼날이 날카로워질수록 생명은 무뎌지고, 심장은 계속 뛰지만 살아 있다는 감각은 점점 희미해집니다.
어쩌면 가장 무서운 것은 죽음이 아니라, 생명과 도구의 경계가 사라진 채 기능만 남은 존재가 되는 것일지도 모릅니다.
