[BUNJANG] Chubae-do Complete 3-Volume Set (Seok-in Edition) /

This is a complete, rare 3-volume antique book, "Chubae-do," presented in a modern Seok-in (stone printing) edition, featuring inscriptions from the 61st year of Emperor Kangxi's reign (1722).

Considered China's foremost book of prophecies, "Chubae-do" was compiled under the order of Emperor Taizong of Tang, predicting the rise and fall of Chinese dynasties and the future Great Harmony world through 60 hexagrams, illustrations, and poems. Historically, it was designated a banned book by imperial courts due to fears of inciting public unrest, leading to its clandestine transmission through handwritten copies or secret stone plate editions among the populace.

Each volume contains meticulously detailed illustrations, rendered in a unique line style, hinting at historical upheavals and the emergence of key figures. This makes it an invaluable resource for the study of Taoist prophecy and art history.
