This is the Barbour Beaufort jacket. It's a well-known piece, so extensive explanation might not be necessary, but as I enjoy providing details, I'll add a few notes.

As the name suggests, this product is inspired by hunting jackets. Because grass and shrubs can grow tall in the forest, this jacket is designed to cover down to the hips. Notably, there's a large zippered pocket on the back, covering the hip area. This is called a game pocket and was historically used for storing hunting gear like maps or gloves.

Unlike the Bedale model, the Beaufort features Velcro closures on the sleeves instead of elastic cuffs. This offers greater durability over time compared to elasticated cuffs which can stretch out.

Given the recent trend towards slimmer pant silhouettes, the style might make a comeback in the next 2-3 years. However, I believe wearing it steadfastly even when it's not trending is even more stylish.

The waxing has been removed, making it easy to wear without concern. I recommend this jacket for those who usually wear size 95 for a classic look over shirts or suits, and for those who wear size 100 if you prefer a lighter layer over shirts or t-shirts.

뭐 워낙 유명해서 설명이 많이 필요 없겠지만.
그래도 저는 설명충이라 몇마디 적어봅니다.

말그대로 헌팅자켓을 모티브로 한 제품입니다.
숲속에선 풀이나 관목이 높게 자라있을 수 있기 때문에 요 자켓도 엉덩이 아래까지 덮는 길이에요.
특히 뒷면 엉덩이 쪽에 커다란 지퍼달린 주머니가 있는데 이건 지도나, 장갑같은 사냥에 필요한 장비를 넣어다닐 수 있는 게임포켓이라고 해요.
팔엔 비데일이랑 달리 시보리가 아니라 벨크로로 조일 수 있도록 되어있는데, 세월에는 늘어나는 시보리보다 이게 훨씬 강하죠.

요즘들어 바지통이 점점 얇아지는걸로 봐서는 아마 2~3년안에 유행이 돌아올 수도 있을 것 같습니다.
물론 유행 안할 때 꿋꿋이 입는편이 더는 더 멋있다고 생각하지만요.
왁스끼가 빠져서 부담없이 입으실 수 있구요.
