A rare, antique Korean bronze teapot dating back over 100 years, meticulously crafted during the Edo to Meiji period in Japan.

This exquisite piece features a detailed landscape scene meticulously carved into both the front and back, with intricate silver inlay techniques used for the mountain peaks and pine needles, showcasing a high level of artisanal skill.

The handle is elegantly finished in the shape of a flower, and an inscription reads "初老記念 原田," suggesting it was a commemorative piece created for someone entering their senior years. The interior bears the inscription "銅也" (Bronze) written in cinnabar.

Note: The white material inside the teapot is a lime plaster or diatomaceous earth finish, applied for fire prevention and insulation, a common practice in Japanese teapots. This was mistakenly returned by a previous buyer who believed it to be plaster.

The base is made of rare wood (괴목) and finished with a traditional lacquer coating.

Distinguished from modern Chinese bronze works, this piece's commemorative nature is a significant indicator of its value. It possesses substantial weight and has been thoroughly cleaned.

Ideal for use in a tea ceremony to boil water. The teapot is in excellent condition, with no cracks or dents.

최소 100년 이상 된 동제 은상감 산수문 대화로입니다.
국내에선 이정도 퀄리티의 주물은 거의 보기 힘들며 일본 에도말에서 명치시기 제작되었습니다.
전면과 후면에 산수를 쪼이기법으로 그려넣었으며 산의 꼭대기와 소나무의 솔은 음상감으로 표현한 고급기법입니다.
손잡이는 꽃의 모양으로 마감하였습니다.
그리고 初老記念 原田 이라는 각인이 보이는데 원전이란 분이 본격적인 노년기에 접어들어 기념으로 제작한듯 합니다.
안쪽에는 銅也 동이다 라고 경면주사로 쓴듯합니다.
어떤분이 구매후 안에 석고를 발랐다고 반품을 하셨는데 화로 안의 하얀 부분은 화재 예방과 단절을 위해 바닥이나 내부에 바른 회반죽이나 규조토 마감재입니다.
일본 화로 대부분이 회석을 바릅니다.
아래 받침대는 괴목이며 전체적으로 옻칠로 마감하였습니다.
고급 기물로 중국의 근대 동제 작품과는 차이가 많으며 기념제작했다는것이 중요증거입니다.
무게감 역시 상당하며 깨끗하게 세척하였습니다.
차방에서 물을 끓이는 용도로 실제 사용하시면 좋겠습니다.
상태는 깨진곳 찌그러진 곳없이 양호합니다.
