This Alesis SR-18 Drum Machine and Bass Synth was purchased in February 2025 from Amazon for $282 (excluding customs, approximately 420,000 KRW). It includes a USB to MIDI cable and a 6-pack of Energizer AA batteries.

This is a studio-grade drum machine, a global bestseller. It features 32MB of multi-samples with 32 polyphonic voices, housing 500 drum sounds and 50 bass synth sound sets. The unit is equipped with onboard EQ, a compressor, and reverb. It supports pattern play mode, pad input during playback, and has a programmable drum roll function within the main unit. It offers 100 preset patterns and 100 user preset slots. The 12 velocity-sensitive pads allow for volume changes based on the force applied.

The rear panel includes 1/4" instrument inputs, 1/4" stereo pair and 1/4" TRS outputs, a 1/4" stereo headphone jack, MIDI In/Out/Thru ports, a footswitch port, and a Kensington lock port.

The drum machine has only been tested for operation and has been stored unused. The original box and adapter are not included, but the manual is. The included 6 AA batteries can be installed for immediate use.
