[BUNJANG] Bank of Joseon 1st Payment Bill 10 Jeon Grade 25 / 조선은행 1차 지급어음 십전 25등급

This is a '1st Payment Bill' of 10 Jeon, graded 25, issued in 1916, around the same time as the Gold Certificate.

Being 110 years old this year, this banknote is rare due to its limited remaining quantity. While most surviving examples are damaged and lack their original form, this particular bill remarkably preserves its original shape and has received a Grade 25 from PMG.

Obtaining a grade from PMG for Bank of Joseon notes involves a cost of ₩65,000 and takes over 4 months, with high grades being increasingly difficult to achieve recently.

Therefore, collecting graded banknotes is currently advantageous.
