A vintage Japanese Imari plate featuring a bird and flower motif.

Diameter: 30.5 cm

This is an antique ceramic plate hand-painted by a potter.

It showcases a vibrant red base adorned with intricate bird and flower patterns characteristic of Imari ware.

The design is further enhanced by Imari's distinctive deep cobalt blue (aogai) border and a striking red glaze (tetsuseki) base, complemented by brilliant gold and green accents.

This is a very old antique, and while there is some minor paint loss consistent with age, there are no chips or cracks.

A rare find for collectors.
