This is a top-quality handmade Go board set crafted by Master Ilseok Mun In-hwan, renowned for his work with Hanil Go boards. The set includes a premium celadon Go board and exquisite shell Go stones, presented in a top-grade zelkova wood container.

This particular set was awarded to the winner of the 1996 Dongyang Investment Life Go Championship, signifying its exceptional quality and prestige. Valued at 1.8 million KRW thirty years ago (equivalent to approximately $1,800 USD at that time), its current value, considering inflation and exchange rates, would be significantly higher, at least 5 to 10 times the original price.

The Go board is in pristine condition, featuring a playing surface with meticulously drawn lines and a natural wood grain free from any blemishes. Its dimensions adhere to the Korean Go Association's standard size: 42cm width, 62cm length, and 25cm height (including the legs), with a board thickness of 14cm.

Both the Go board and the shell Go stones have been meticulously stored and remain in excellent, top-tier condition. Due to an upcoming relocation, this treasured artifact is being offered at a remarkable price.

The set includes 178 white shell stones and 181 black obsidian stones, a complete and sufficient set.

This is an extremely rare item, perfect as a gift for a Go enthusiast or as a family heirloom to be passed down through generations.
