**Material:** Solid Silver body with blue and white cloisonné enamel decoration.

**Features & Design:**

This unique medal features intricately placed silkworm moth patterns on all four sides. The front blue and white wing sections are finished using traditional cloisonné techniques, firing vitreous enamel pigments to maintain a brilliant luster.

The reverse side is clearly engraved in seal script with 'Hōyōshō' (豊蚕章 - Award for Bountiful Silkworms), 'Dai Nippon Sericultural Association' (大日本蚕業会), and 'Donating Member' (賛同会員).

The natural, substantial patina (aging) inherent to silver, developed over time, adds a stately and antique charm, further enhancing its collectible value.
