Introducing a vintage 2-way top handle bag from Saint Laurent (YSL), versatile as both a crossbody and tote bag.

This iconic YSL monogram was created in 1961 by graphic designer Cassandre at the request of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. The Cassandre logo, a fusion of Y, S, and L, is subtly expressed through stitching and embossing on the center of the flap.

The design emphasizes soft curves, exuding a simultaneously feminine and charming appeal.

Among similar designs, this particular piece with its top handle is a rare archival find. Items in good condition, with well-maintained handles and no structural distortion, are difficult to come by and are highly sought after by collectors, often selling out quickly.
