This is a Trompe-l'oeil patchwork jacket/windbreaker from Kapital, a unique brand that began in Kojima, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, in the 1980s. This is an "Old Kapital" piece from the 2000s (CAPITAL. INC era).

Key features include a diverse and irregular patchwork design with floral and check patterns in Oriental and vintage colors. The Trompe-l'oeil (visual illusion) technique is employed with high-resolution digital printing for an incredibly detailed product.

Another highlight is the fabric: surprisingly, both the exterior and interior (mesh lining) are made of high-density woven cotton. After calendering processing using metal rollers, the exterior achieves a subtle sheen, similar to poly or nylon.

As it's worn and ages, the jacket is expected to become even more dimensional and authentic.

Details include hood straps, slanted hand pockets, elasticated hem finishing, and a Waldes zipper predominantly used in the 1930s-1950s. This is a truly remarkable jacket that accurately captures the essence of vintage.

In excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. Recommended for men's M, L (slim), and women's up to XL. Condition is approximately 9/10. Tagged size 3.
