This is a traditional Japanese Jūbako (lacquered stacking box), originally intended for bento or snacks. Its charmingly compact size makes it ideal for use in a tea room, perfect for storing small Pu-erh tea cups, tea accessories, or incense containers.

Crafted from natural wood, it features a subtle brown lacquer finish. The front is adorned with an exquisite floral and leaf motif.

This vintage craft utilizes traditional decorative techniques like Maki-e or inlay, where gold or silver powder, or thin wood pieces, are applied to the wood base to create the patterns.

While showing signs of use, there is no damage, ensuring full functionality for practical use. Please note that returns are not accepted after purchase. 천연 나무 재질 위에 은은한 브라운 톤의 옻칠(Lacquer)을 입혀 마감하였으며, 전면에는 아름다운 꽃과 잎사귀 문양이 정교하게 장식되어 있습니다.

나무 바탕 위에 금가루나 은가루, 혹은 얇은 나무 조각 등을 입혀 문양을 내는 전통적인 장식 기법(마키에 또는 인레이 기법)이 적용된 빈티지 공예품입니다.
