All processes are conducted in Japan, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship, including the independent design of small metal parts like zippers and clasps.

This tote bag's leather is crafted from carefully selected North American steerhide (Stairhide). It undergoes chrome tanning for durability, followed by vegetable tannin re-tanning (combination tanning) to maximize the leather's natural softness and elasticity. Subsequently, special wax is applied to the leather surface, and high-temperature, high-pressure embossing with an intricate crocodile pattern mold is performed to imprint the design. The final step involves skilled artisans manually wiping off the wax and adjusting the gloss, completing the 'Antique Croco' texture with its deep and three-dimensional appearance.

이 토트백의 가죽 공정은 엄선된 북미산 소가죽(스테어하이 드)을 바탕으로 시작되는데, 먼저 크롬으로 무두질하여 내구 성을 확보한 뒤 다시 식물성 탄닌으로 재무두질하는 '콤비네 이션 태닝'을 거쳐 가죽 고유의 부드러움과 탄력을 극대화합 니다. 이후 가죽 표면에 특수 왁스를 바르고 정교한 악어 문양 금형으로 고온·고압의 엠보싱 작업을 수행하여 패턴을 각인 하며, 마지막 단계에서 숙련된 장인이 수작업으로 왁스를 닦 아내고 광택을 조절하는 피니싱 작업을 통해 이미지처럼 깊이 있고 입체적인 '앤티크 크로코' 질감을 완성하는 것이 핵심입 니다.
