A commemorative keyring from the 2nd Han Seo Je festival held in 1978 in Borui, Hongcheon.

'Borui' is the former name of Mokgok-ri, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, where Han Seo Nam Gung Eok (1863-1939), an independence activist and educator during the Japanese colonial period, settled. He established a church and school, promoted the mugunghwa (rose of sharon), and led an anti-Japanese enlightenment movement.

The Han Seo Je festival was first held in 1977 to honor the spirit of Han Seo Nam Gung Eok and promote community harmony, continuing until 1991.

'보리울'은 강원도 홍천군 서면 모곡리(보리울)에서 일제강점기 독립운동가이자 교육자였던 한서 남궁억(1863~1939) 선생이 낙향하여 교회와 학교를 세우고 무궁화를 보급하며 항일 계몽운동을 펼쳤던 모곡리의 옛 지명입니다.

한서제는 서면 모곡리에서 활동했던 한서 남궁억 선생의 정신을 기리고, 주민 화합을 도모하기 위해 지난 1977년 최초로 열려 1991년까지 이어졌다.
