A collection of four Korean banknotes from the 1962 currency reform. This set includes two 10 Won notes and two 50 Won notes.

In June 1962, South Korea underwent its third currency reform, transitioning from 'Hwan' to 'Won' at a 10:1 exchange rate. Later that year, in December, 10 Won and 50 Won denominations were also issued for circulation.

These notes originate from a period of military government, during which the nation initiated its first 5-Year Economic Development Plan under President Park Chung-hee. This era marked significant economic achievements and laid the foundation for future growth.
