Constructed from a 50% Nylon / 50% Cotton NYCO Ripstop blend, the fabric exhibits a distinctive grid pattern reinforced by internal threads. This represents a material shift from the earlier 100% Cotton Ripstop used in early Hot Weather BDUs, marking the transition to the 50/50 NYCO Ripstop introduced around 1995.
