Shin Sang-ho Celadon Tea Bowl (Born 1947 - Active).

Artist Shin Sang-ho, born in 1947, graduated from the ceramics department at Hongik University and its graduate school. He is acclaimed for exploring the potential of clay and adding depth and innovation to contemporary ceramic art for over 40 years. He received awards such as the 1979 Space Grand Prize for Ceramics for his works fired after painting on ceramic plates, and the 1988 Prime Minister's Commendation. He served as the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Hongik University until 2014. His works are held in the collections of the British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Sèvres Museum National de la Céramique in Paris.

신상호 작가는 1947년생으로 홍익대학교와 동 대학원 도예과를 졸업했다.
40여년 간 흙이 가진 가능성을 탐구하고 현대 도예 예술의 깊이를 더하며 혁신을
이루었다는 평을 받는다. 도자기판에 그림을 그려 가마에서 구운 1979 공간대전
도예상 및 1988 국무총리 표창 등을 수상했고, 2014년까지 홍익대 미대 학장을
지냈다. 런던 대영박물관, 빅토리아 알버 트 박물관, 파리 세브르 국립도자박물관
등에 작품이 소장돼있다.
