[BUNJANG] Korean Empire Postal Card (1901-1903) with 2-Ri Eagle Stamp / 우편엽서

This is a rare Universal Postal Union (UPU) foreign mail postal card from the Korean Empire (Reign of Emperor Gojong), issued between 1901 and 1903. It features a scarce 2-ri Eagle stamp.

While many postal cards were issued with printed stamps, those issued with affixed stamps from the Korean Empire, like this one, are exceptionally rare. The presence of a clear "Seoul (Coree)" international postmark on this unused card significantly enhances its rarity.

The reverse side depicts a circa early 20th-century view of the "Seimon Ishibashi," a stone arch bridge located in front of the main gate of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan. The inscription "PALACE TOKYO" is clearly visible in the lower left corner.

Most standard Korean Empire postal cards have a plain reverse. However, landscape postcards with early designs such as this one are extremely scarce in philatelic markets, making this item exceptionally rare.

선명하게 찍힌 실체엽서는 희소성이 더욱 뚜렸하게 인정됩니다.

뒷면 사진은 일본 도쿄 황거(황궁)의 정문앞에 위치한 (니쥬바시. 이중교)중
돌로된 아치교인 "세이몬 이시바시" 의 20세기 초반 전경 입니다.
좌측 하단에 " PALACE TOKYO" 영문 문구가 선명 하게 확인됩니다.

일반적인 대한제국 우편엽서는 거의 대부분이 뒷면이 민자인 것이
보편적이나 이러한 초기 도안의 풍경 엽서는 우취시장 에서 잔존량이
거의 없어 희소성이 더욱 확실합니다.
