[BUNJANG] Chongryon 20th Anniversary Commemorative Medal / 조총련 (일본내 북한단체) 20주년 기념 메달

This is a commemorative medal for the 20th anniversary of Chongryon (the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan).

This medal was uniquely ordered and distributed by Kim Il-sung, allowing it to be worn only on special occasions.

This is the only one available on the domestic market.

It was acquired from a Chongryon executive in Tokyo, who stated it was a memento received from North Korea. It was legally brought into the country through customs declaration and is considered a collectible item, not for the promotion of any ideology, in accordance with the National Security Act.

I am listing this item purely for collection purposes, with no intention of endorsing communism. As this is an item from a third country, its entry into the country was lawful.
