Due to the color and nature of the padding, there are signs of use on the neck area from sunscreen, but this is expected to be resolved with cleaning. The hood is detachable, but the snap closure covering the attachment point has fallen off. This does not affect the hood's detachability in any way. The item is stored in the inner pocket. It is a goose down padded jacket.
