This is a privately produced mint set from 2001, a year when coin production was limited due to high material costs.

Recently, it has been reintroduced with reduced material costs.

This set is made from uncirculated rolls, with the outer coins discarded and only the center coins used, resulting in a higher quality than official mint sets (which often have more dark spots).

Note: While 1 and 5 Won coins have not been issued as circulating currency by the Bank of Korea since 1991, they have been included from 1983 for completeness.

2001년도는 대체적으로 동전 가격이 너무 비싸서 오랫동안 제작되지 못했던 사제 민트 입니다.
최근 부수적 재료비를 절감하면서 선보이게되었습니다.
완전미사용 롤을 개봉해서 양쪽은 버리고 가운데 주화만으로 제작한 것이기에
조*공사의 민트보다 품질이 우수하여보입니다(조폐것은 흑점많음)
현재2001년 조폐민트 28만원 정도 거래되고 있음
참고로 1주 5주는 한국은행에서 91년부터 유통주화로 발행을 안했기 때문에 안 넣어도 되지만,
그래도 없는 것 보다는 낫기 때문에 83년으로 대신 넣었습니다.
