This is a rare plate from the mid-1800s, manufactured by an American company established in the mid-19th century that ceased operations before World War II due to material shortages.

* Made of pewter with a silver plating. Due to poor storage conditions, the silver plating is peeling in various places as shown in the photos. The seller is unsure how to remove the remaining plating.
