[BUNJANG] Yuan-Ming Early Period Celadon Glass Red 'Eight Immortals' Bottle Vase / 원말명초청화유리홍 첩화팔선도호리병

This is a large bottle vase from the Yuan-Ming early period, featuring underglaze blue and red (qinghua and youlihong) decoration of the 'Eight Immortals' (Tie Hwa Pal Seon Do).

Detailed Description:

The vase is constructed in three stacked sections, with clear potter's wheel marks visible both inside and out. The base features a lotus petal design, while the central section is adorned with the 'Eight Immortals' motif rendered in 'Tie Hwa' style. The depiction of willow leaves and pine needles suggests Yuan Dynasty craftsmanship, while the phoenix motif at the top points to the early Ming Dynasty. This leads to the attribution to the Hongwu period of the Yuan-Ming early period. (Experts, please comment.)

The vase exhibits a balanced use of underglaze blue and glass red glaze. The characteristic 'green spots' (nokban) of the glass red are also well-defined.

전체적으로 호리병이 3부분으로 퇴첩이 되어 있고, 내외부에 물레자욱이 잘 드러나 있으며,
하단에 연판문, 중앙에 첩화로 팔선도의 도인을 잘 묘사하였고, 버들잎과 소나무잎사귀의 묘사로 보아 원말 양식으로 보여지고, 상단 봉황으로 보아 명초로 보여져서 원말명초 홍무때가 아닌가 여겨집니다.(고수님들 댓글 부탁합니다)
