[BUNJANG] Qing Dynasty Dehua Kiln Celadon Scholar's Brush Holder with Pine and Crane Motif / 중국도자기 청대 덕화요 송학문 필통

A 19th-century scholar's brush holder from the Dehua Kiln, dating to the Guangxu period (1875-1908) of the Qing Dynasty. This piece is attributed to the renowned ceramic sculptor Wang Bingrong, who was active in Jingdezhen.

Featuring a pine and crane motif, the carving is deep and three-dimensional, executed using the 'Duisu' (stacked relief) technique. The surface possesses a jade-like quality, and the mark on the base is exceptional.
