Sourcing authentic black denim from the 90s and 00s is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive, making these 517s a valuable find. While the current 517 models can develop fading over time, vintage black denim offers a unique, established aesthetic that's hard to replicate.

These jeans retain a strong black hue, still in the pre-faded black-grey stage. The fading present is natural and the fabric shows no damage. For optimal care, we recommend hand-washing the thigh area.

Originally a 30-length inseam, the previous owner had them shortened slightly. The hem has been expertly chain-stitched with Union Special 43200g, a process that helps create a more pronounced puckering effect. To enhance this, lightly mist the hem with water and use a hairdryer while shaping to further refine the puckering.

The hem has been re-rolled and chain-stitched for a durable finish.

These jeans offer a perfect length for boots or sneakers. For reference, the model (182cm, 71kg) wore them slightly relaxed with a 2-2.5 inch size-up. The 2000s fit is generally more regular than the 90s, allowing for a natural look even when sizing up 2-3 sizes, especially for those with stronger legs.

요즘은 90s-00s 흑청 자체가 많치도 않은데다 가격이 고가라인으로 잡혀있어 501,505,517등의 흑청은 해외 사입이 사실상 거의 불가능에 가까워지고 있습니다.

현행의 517-0260도 사서 몇년간 아니 그이상 계속 입어주시면서 물이 빠지면 어느정도 페이딩이 빋아주긴 하겠지만 교복 같이 매일입고 땀 묻히고 공기와 먼지와 오염등에 색이 산화가 되면서 세탁까지 도와줘야 하는데 그냥 빈티지 흑청을 사입는게 좋겠죠~~

색감도 아직 블랙이 보이고 블랙그레이로 가기 전단계로 보시면 되구요 전체적으로 페이딩이 아주 자연스럽고 원단 손상은 없는 상태니 세탁시 허벅지쪽만 넓게 손세탁 해주시면 더 좋아지겠습니다. 기장이 30기장으로 나왔지만 전주인의 기장수선으로 몇센티 짧아진거 같습니다.

밑단은 유니온 체인스티치 완료해놨습니다.
일반 체인스티치는 퍼커링 만들기 힘듭니다.
유니온43200g로 묶어놨으니 시간나실때 분무기로 밑단
물 뿌려놓고 드라이기로 퍼커링 틀 잡아놨으니 돌리면서 말려주시면 좀 더 말립니다.

밑단을 두껍게 해놔 밑단 터서 다시 말아 체인스티치 해놨습니다.

제가 착용시 아주 똑기장 정도로 부츠나 반스등에 딱좋은 기장감입니다. 착용샷 182,71키로 사이즈 2업2-2.5업 해서 현재 벨트 안차고 살짝 내려입었습니다. 00s가 90s대비 좀 더 레귤러하게 나와 하체 좋으신 분들은 90s보단 00s로 가시고 사이즈 2-3업 해서 입으셔도 자연스럽습니다.
