[BUNJANG] Black Glazed Tea Bowl (Chawan) / 흑유 다완

This is a black-glazed tea bowl, known as a 'Chawan' (茶碗).

Crafted with a lustrous black glaze rich in iron, this piece exhibits unique characteristics. Around the rim, the glaze flows subtly, thinning to reveal beautiful brown and earth-toned hues. The overall shape adheres to the traditional 'Tenmoku Chawan' (天目茶碗) style, gradually widening towards the top.

The base reveals unglazed areas where the reddish-brown clay body is exposed, showcasing its distinct texture. Inside the foot, natural wheel marks add to the antique and profound aesthetic of this vessel.

바닥면을 보면 굽과 그 주변부에는 유약을 바르지 않고 태토를 그대로 노출시켜 붉은빛과 적갈색이 도는 태토의 질감이 선명히 보이며
굽 안쪽에는 물레 자국이 자연스럽게 남아 있어
고풍스럽고 ​ 그윽한 운치를 보여주는 기물입니다.
